Life during the corps member’s year will combine a rich program of social service with community interaction and studies in spiritual growth.
Corps members serve 32 hours a week at a variety of community organizations in the area. Because we are a small community in which nonprofit organizations have limited funds to pay staff, a corps member may serve part time at multiple sites.

Corps members live in intentional community at Harmony House of Thomas the Apostle Center in Cody. Typically, after a weekday spent at their service site, Corps members will end each day with spiritual reflection, sharing, and compline. Corps members will have worked together to develop their “rule of life” and then will share cleaning, shopping and cooking responsibilities. Fridays are for formation, and will be spent in discernment, on pilgrimages, or sharing activities with their local friendship families. Extended weekends will be arranged allowing for longer adventures, allowing corps members to experience the diversity and grandeur of the Rocky Mountain West.
